Turnagain United Methodist Church

We are Turnagain United Methodist Church (TUMC) make is our mission that everyone can make their self at home in Church. Making yourself at home with God involves children, youth, and adults in prayer and worship that enhances, encourages, and respects each person’s faith journey as a follower of Jesus, in whom we see a reflection of the loving nature of God. Making yourself at home in Church involves respecting each others differences and opinions; being open and welcoming to other regardless of their race, gender, cultural heritage, age, or sexual orientation; participating in the on-going hospitality offered to all; and being an active partner in the Church. We also hope that our members participate and support the congregations historic commitment to missions and acts of compassion to the Turnagain neighborhood, the Anchorage community, the United Methodist Church, and to critical human needs, domestic and foreign.
