Churches List is edited by a small team. We publish our names so that questions of editorial judgment can be addressed to a person, not an inbox.

Editorial

Editorial correspondence of any kind should be sent to letters@churcheslist.com. We will route your note to the right editor. Specific roles are below.

Editor-in-chief

Responsible for the overall editorial direction, final review on disputed entries, and the Weekly Letter.

Denominations & traditions

Curates denomination pages, tradition groupings, and the tradition-explainer text on each parish page.

States & cities

Curates state and city index pages, Featured Parish selections, and the city-level Editor's Pick.

Data & directory

Owns the cadence at which parish details are refreshed, the integration with public data sources (Wikipedia, Commons, OpenStreetMap, US Census), and the sitemap.

Corrections desk

Receives every correction and claim submission. Responds within two business days.

Independence

None of the above editors holds a paid position with a denomination, publisher, or advertising network. None of us accepts gifts, placements, or sponsored content. Our operating costs are covered by the publisher, an independent non-profit reference imprint.
