Spotsylvania Presbyterian Church
Spotsylvania Presbyterian Church exists to glorify God by the transformation of lives through the Power of Jesus Christ. Located in suburban Spotsylvania County just southwest of Fredericksburg, Virginia, Spotsylvania Presbyterian Church is a congregation in the Reformed tradition with a vital and holistic ministry. Missions, education, fellowship, stewardship, and service provide focus as we seek to be active in the lives of our members and friends, serving our local and global communities as God calls us. Members and friends of SPC participate in regular mission trips to Haiti and directly support a medical mission in Bangladesh and Wycliffe Bible Translators in Papua New Guinea. The Thurman Brisben Homeless Shelter, Spotsylvania Emergency Concerns Association (SECA), Thanksgiving and Christmas Baskets, Bethany Christian Services, Hospice, Bragg Hill Family Life Center, Young Life and Habitat for Humanity are some of the local missions we support with prayer and resources. Sunday School classes, Bible studies, and Vacation Bible School provide opportunities for people of different age groups and interests to study and grow in God’s word. Fellowship activities include potluck suppers, special youth, adult, senior adult and children’s programs, picnics, summer sports camp, and men’s and women’s outings. A nursery is provided during all Sunday worship services and Wednesday night activities, as well as most church-wide events.
