OUR MISSION… Is to lead people into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ OUR VISION… Is to help you connect with God and his calling for you, connect with others, and serve the Lord alongside you! OUR STRATEGY… Is to create environments where people are encouraged and equipped to pursue intimacy with God, build community, and influence others for Christ. LEADERSHIP STRUCTURE… Christ is the head of the Church. We rely upon our Elders to discern where Christ is leading sovG and have adopted the early Church model of a Plurality of Elders. The Elders strive to empower and release other leaders at sovG. OUR CORE BELIEFS… We believe in one God who exists in three distinct persons: Father, Son, and Holy Sprint. We believe that Jesus Christ is the second member of the Trinity (son of God) who became flesh to reveal God to humanity and to become the Savior of the lost world. We believe man was created in the image of God, to have fellowship with him but became alienated in that relationship through sinful disobedience. As a result, we’re incapable of regaining a right relationship with God through our own efforts. It is only through accepting Christ as our Savior and Christ’s sacrificial life that we may be made whole again. Each of us is part of the body of Christ with unique spiritual gifts that when combined together makes up the church.
