Dr. John and Prophetess Meekness LeCato are devoted to the gospel of Jesus Christ. In obedience to the Lords command to feed his sheep, they cite Mathew 28: 20 – 21 as their inspirational and Ministers motivational scripture: “Go ye therefore and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, Son, and of the Holy Ghost. Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even until the end of the world.” At the request of several Bishops and Pastors in East Africa, and with the support of her husband, Meekness traveled as an evangelist to Nairobi, Kenya in 1988 to conduct conferences and open-air revivals in the city and in the rural areas. This began missionary journeys during which they would travel to East Africa for 13 years. On various trips they organized and led teams of ministers that desired to be mentored in foreign missionary work. These ministers came from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Los Angeles, California, Phoenix, Arizona and as far away as England. In 1989 John and Meekness were ordained as ministers of the gospel. In 1990 they founded and pastored Honeycomb Christian Center, a non-denominational ministry, in the Sunnyslope area of Phoenix, Arizona. In addition to ministering the uncompromising Word of God, Honeycomb Christian Center embraced and developed programs and services that included, feeding the hungry, housing the homeless and ministering to alcoholics and drug addicts. John and Meekness have been guest speakers on TBN and hosted radio programs in Arizona and California. They have also conducted Christian conferences and seminars locally and nationally. For the furtherance of the gospel, they have also owned and operated two Christian bookstores. Married for 23 years, they are the parents of five young men and 14 grandchildren. Meekness is the author of From Ghetto to Glory and Rebirth, a Collection of Poems. The foundation of the ministry of John and Meekness was laid with prayer, fasting, and tested faith. Our Vision: As we proclaim Jesus, the Christ, as the head of the Church and manifested Word of God, our vision is to teach the Word of God with simplicity and understanding so that it may be applied to our everyday lives in a practical and effective manner; thereby being transformed into DOERS of the Word and not just hears. Our Purpose: Shabach Word of Faith Christian Center purpose is to help women and men develop a relationship with God, triumph over learned helplessness, and overcome their fears. Also SOW the Word in to their Lives, so they can accomplish Gods maximum potential for their lives. Our Passion: Our passion is to win souls to Christ, and be an ARM to help new believers grow in the grace and knowledge of Jesus Christ. Shabach is determined to teach the uncompromising Word of God that will enable believers to fulfill their covenant destiny in God.
