The Bethlehem United Methodist Church is the first and oldest Methodist Church in the city of Greenwood, South Carolina. It was established in April of 1811, and celebrated it’s 205th Anniversary this year in 2016!! This church is where I attended from 1964 to 1984. The church members were friendly and like one big family. Everyone was loving, and always willing to help anyone in need. The historians of South Carolina have overlooked Bethlehem United Methodist Church, but that is about to change.
