Norview Baptist Church

Norview Baptist Church, a proud member of the Southern Baptist Convention and Southern Baptist Conservatives, is a Christ-Centered church with a history of serving the military and civilian residents of Norfolk, Virginia Beach and the surrounding Tidewater areas for over 82 years. Our services include: A Contemporary Sunday worship service Sundays, 8:30 a.m. A Blended Sunday worship service Sundays at 11:00 a.m. Sunday School classes designed to meet many ages and demographics An active student ministry filled with bible study and discussion, worship times, and quarterly events We seek to see the kingdom of God expand in the Norview area. We will do this by relating to the community one person and one family at a time. We will share the gospel with them, connect them to a small group fellowship, encourage their growth as a disciple, engage them in vibrant worship, and include them in ministry and outreach. Through it all we will pray for them and with them. We will be one body of believers who will not separate and divide according to race or economics. We recognize that many of our brothers and sisters in Christ are in other congregations and may worship, govern themselves, and believe differently on secondary issues than us. Regardless, they still are part of the Body of Christ in the Norview area. We will encourage and cooperate with them, as we are able without compromising our beliefs. We will seek to minister to the needs of the community while we seek to minister to their greater spiritual need. We seek to see individuals and families transformed by knowing Christ and growing in His word. As individuals and families are transformed, we seek to see the culture transformed.
