Fort Miller Reformed Church
The Fort Miller Reformed Church is a member of the Reformed Church in America. It is Presbyterian in polity and arose out of the great Reformation in the 16th Century, sparked by Martin Luther, John Calvin, and Ulrich Zwingli. The Reformed movement traveled throughout Europe. The American church was strongly influenced by the Dutch, who were early settlers in New York. In 1628 the first church was organized in New York, thus making us the oldest denomination in the state. But we like to say the RCA is “reformed and always reforming,” always finding fresh ways to express God’s eternal truth. We welcome all to join us on the journey.
