Bremen Union Church
This little white church on the coast of Maine had historic links to the Congregational and Methodist traditions, but has been unaffiliated with any denomination for a number of years. Those who worship here range from those with winter churches or past affiliations ranging from Quaker to Roman Catholic. We respect the different Christian traditions while keeping our focus on our core belief as followers of Jesus Christ. Those in our congregation range in age from 1-95 and include native Mainers and many ‘from away.” We offer Sunday school classes for children through grade 10, weekday Bible study for adults, participation in mission projects locally, nationally, and around the world, have a monthly hymn sing, and other special time of worship including Christmas Eve, Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday, Good Friday, the Blessing of the Fleet, Easter Sunrise at the town landing, and other occasional outdoor or offsite services. Whether you are a native of Maine, new homeowner, seasonal resident, vacationer, or weekend visitor, you have a place here at the Bremen Union Church.
