Free tool
What can a stranger find about your church?
Free. No signup, no email address, no one to apply to. Covers all 334,555 congregations in this directory.
Look up any congregation and see exactly what a search engine can find about it today: whether it has a website, whether anyone has claimed its Google listing, whether its service times are published anywhere a machine can read them. Then see the free steps that would fix the gaps, in the order that pays.
What the audit checks
Five things, all of them answered from what this directory already holds. We make no request to your website and we assert nothing we cannot see:
- A website on record. Whether we hold a web address at all.
- A verified Google Business Profile. The record that answers a near me search.
- Published hours. Whether service times exist anywhere a machine can read them.
- A full street address. Not just a town.
- Map coordinates. Without them a congregation cannot be returned by proximity at all.
You also get your congregation's position against three benchmarks — its city, its state, and its tradition — so the result is a comparison rather than a verdict.
Why we built this
We counted every congregation we hold and 237,225 of 334,555 have no website. The gap is not caused by cost — the highest-leverage fix on the list is free and takes ten minutes. It is caused by nobody in the congregation being the person whose job it is. A report that names the specific gaps, for one specific church, is a better starting point than a statistic about all of them.
