Mt. Pleasant is a Presbyterian, Bible-preaching church with an average Sunday morning attendance of about 200. There is also a Sunday evening service at 6:00 and a mid-week Bible study on Wednesdays at 6:30 p.m. Our fully-staffed day care serves about 70 kids Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. We are located in semi-rural Raccoon Township, a few miles from the Shippingport power plants and about 10 miles from the Beaver Valley Mall in one direction and Aliquippa in another. Our pastor, Reverend Richard Herbster, also teaches Greek at the Episcopal seminary in Ambridge, PA. Ours is a welcoming church with a focus on kids and families. We average about 30 kids ages three to seven in children’s worship.
