Our mission is to make disciples of Jesus Christ for the transformation of the world. Glenwood UMC is a faith community that honors the past, envisions the future while being faithful in the present. Glenwood UMC has been around for a little while, try 1893. We went from a basement, to a building on Highland Ave, and finally in 1962 to the current location on Hague and Valleyview. Our community is the Hilltop, West Side, Columbus and Central Ohio.
Being of the Wesleyan Christian tradition, "In Essentials, Unity; in non-essentials, liberty; in all things, charity." We celebrate diversity as a gift given to us by God. The body of Christ is unity not uniformity. We are a church with many doors which values the sacred worth of all people."
