The Vision of Unity & Praise Let us welcome you to Unity & Praise Greater Deliverance Tabernacle; Inc. located in the Newhallville neighborhood NH,CT at 261 Newhall Street. Our Pastor and Founder is Prophetess Margaret A. Rivers; along with her husband, Elder Danny Rivers. Allow us to inform you of our goals and purpose as a church. Unity & Praise is strongly dedicated to serving the Lord and helping others find comfort and peace in the salvation that our Lord Jesus Christ provides. Our mission is to bring God's love into the hearts of those struggling with poverty, drug addiction, child abuse, depression, gangs, prostitution, and a host of other human tragedies. We are committed to bring Christ into the pulpit, living room, hospital, prison, shelters and the streets. Our pastor, Margaret Rivers is a devout leader delivering the word of God in spirit and in truth with passion, faith, and hope; powerfully encouraging all who listen to her preach to allow God to move in their life. She is a counselor, teacher, motivator and leader. She does not turn any away from the door of salvation, accepting all who come. Pastor Rivers accepts the drug dealer, gang member, alcoholic, addict, single parent, diseased and troubled youth of our community making the ministry at times seem trying and turbulent but yet a fulfillment of what God has called her to do. However, we will not allow situations that come along with the work of God hinder us nor keep us from reaching our goals and commitment in bringing forth a peaceful, positive atmosphere for our community and church. We are happy to say we provide a safe haven for our endangered youth by providing positive educational programs such as field trips, cook-outs, musical performances, drill squads and other fun but spiritual activities that give our much targeted young people a positive experience in our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
