As a starting ministry in Haiti, we need your strength and skills to get across God’s message to this nation. Yet we need to do more than just repeat the gospel to them. Haitians have already heard of God and Jesus So what message can we bring? The message of hope! Satan has deceived Haiti. He has trapped them into believing that the only way to freedom is through the voodoo rituals of their ancestors. God is their true hope, and His heart is full of love for this nation. Now, this is not going to be easy. To some people, ministry in Haiti will be a “Fear Factor” experience. Picture this: your team is sent to missionary to a remote village in the mountains. Your transport arrives. To your surprise, you are shoved in the back of a truck with five other people, and the journey is for three or four up to five hours! When the truck finally stops, you still have a couple hours walk ahead of you: through a dry river bed. At nightfall you finally reach your destination. As you slap away mosquitoes, you pray for the weather, because if it rains you could be stuck there for days Are you willing to pay that price? What if that is what it would take? What if you had to give it all to see a nation’s destiny changed? That destiny is for Haiti to become a blessing, and not a curse! “It will come about that just as you were a curse among the nations so I will save you that you may become a blessing.” Zechariah 8:13
