The Rock is a church dedicated to winning souls for the Kingdom of God. Through teaching, preaching, and daily application of the Word of God, we strive to fulfill our mission of “Evangelism, Exhaltation and Edification.” Pastor Frank Jacobs is the founder and overseer of The Rock Worship Center. The Lord spoke to him about his “Promised Land” and relocated him to Charlotte, NC from Pittsburgh, PA. In 1999 Pastor Jacobs was appointed and installed as a Pastor in the Church of God In Christ. He pastored in Western Pennsylvania for 5 years until he heard God’s voice urging him to move to Charlotte, NC. He and his wife Kimberly have been married for 12 years and have four sons.
