“You are welcome” is the spirit one encounters when entering the doors of Kendrick Lane Baptist Church next to Kendrick Elementary School on the corner of Bagby Street and Kendrick Lane in Southwest Waco, Texas. Kendrick Lane is a small community church who’s primary goal is reaching the lost and seeking to present the message of salvation freely offered to all through the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Hoping to more clearly deliver the message of GOD’S love for all a recent revival spirit has swept through the congregation. Brother Greg Brumit, pastor for many years is indeed a gentle shepherd to his flock but also a strongly principled man who is involved in many aspects of our community’s development. The community around our small church is changing each and everyday and Kendrick Lane is seeking to change in all the right ways to better reach out to the needs as they exist today. We are not that perfect church you sometimes hear about in stories but we can hope you will come and join with us to help us become the perfect church for you. We really need your help as we grow and pray about what we need to do next to help our youth to face the pressures of growing up. We need you to help us minister to families in these difficult economic times and in the difficulties all families face in spite of the times. We know that the happiest people are God’s people.
